Coming from a long running friendship with Carver, Loaded has been experimenting with surfskate truck technology for years.

Now, pushing the boundary of what defines a surfskate, the Loaded Tangent and Fathom Surfskate Editions are a unique marriage of surfskate agility and longboard flow. Pairing the revolutionary Zee Bracket system with Carver trucks and big wheels has opened up surfskate truck performance on a double-drop board for the first time.

The Tangent Surfskate Edition is stable and maneuverable with an innovative construction and low ride height that makes this board a pioneer in a new category of skateboarding we like to call “distance surfskate.”

A WHOLE NEW SETUP

A whole new experience to reimagine surfskating: big wheels and a super-low ride height. Our distance surfskate setup is equipped with a Carver CX truck set and Orangatang Kegels for a refined surfskate experience with responsive, snappy turns and effortless pumping.

PREMIUM BUSHING CONFIGURATION

Upgraded with Orangatang bushings, this setup is all about high performance, agility, and smooth control. In front we have a mix of purple Knuckles roadside and orange Nipples boardside combining for energetic turns and yellow Nipples in the rear for drive and stability. It’s a comfortable performance double-drop bracket board to blend surfskate and long-distance skating, built to get you pumping fast and to maintain your speed while also helping to avoid wheelbite.

UNRIVALED CONTROL

The Tangent is stable and easy to control. The Zee Bracket system and rocker profile provide the lowest ride height for easy pushing and footbraking. Rocker also wedges the trucks slightly for tighter turning and gives the rider a locked-in feel. The mega-upturned corners provide a palpable reference point for foot positioning and a secure pocket for pumping.

RELAXED ERGONOMICS

The concave “tub” design is flat in the middle and slopes up towards the side rails of the deck, resulting in added comfort, responsiveness, and agility. Ample real estate accommodates a wide range of rider sizes and allows the option to adjust your stance over longer distances or to alternate pushing between mongo and regular.

INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION

Maple and basalt composite construction provides lightweight durability while also ensuring a smooth ride thanks to a subtle, long-lasting damp flex. Coarser griptape at the ends relays tactile feedback for intuitive foot positioning.

"I got my tangent surf skate with 80mm kegals. At first I was thinking this is kind of a gimic thing as it was tight and not pumping well at all. I took it out for a full 5 hour sesh on some nice hills in the local HS parking lot. By the end of the day, I didnt want to stop. The smile on my face riding this board after it broke in good was priceless. This is my favorite drop through and I grab it almost every day. The quality is awesome and after some hours on it, the performance is awesome as well. Sooo much fun to just drop and go. Thank you Loaded for one incredible ride!"

"I got the Tanget bracket board has a basalt fiber layer in it almost like carbon fiber but volcanic rock to reduce vibrations and make it stronger/lighter i was skeptical ordered the board paris trucks o tang wheels definitely can feel the difference of road dampening and how stable it is and very easy to carry speed and carve/pump overall im addicted to this board to say the least couldnt recommend it more my first loaded board and wont be the last !!!"

My go-to board for cruising or distance.

"This was my first real board unless you consider the $70 Amazon special I started on. I have SEVERAL boards now but the Tangent is my go-to! It is a great board from cruising around town to covering miles and miles! I have the Paris/Dad Bod setup but I switch it out to surf skate on occasion. Smooooth riding thanks to the basalt layer inside and plenty of room on the platform. Super stable, low to the ground and did I mention room on the platform?? Great for everyone from beginners to advanced riders. Just get one and you’ll see what I mean!"
