My order is saying it is delivered, but I haven't received it. What should I do?

When this happens we recommend starting off with the following;

  • Check with the apartments/businesses next door to see if the package was delivered to them by mistake.
  • If you have a lobby, check to see if the carrier hid it somewhere in the lobby.
  • Check with your neighbors to see if it was delivered to (or picked up), by mistake.
  • In some rare instances the tracking information will show that the package was delivered even when it actually was not. When this happens, the package is typically delivered a few hours later or the following day.

Once you have done all of the above and if you still do not have your order, please contact us.

I am having an issue with my Loaded Boards product, is it covered under warranty?

As skaters progress and practice new skills, decks will inevitably sustain stress and damage. Those pushing trick limits, especially pro-level riders can damage decks in a single session, much like downhill skaters will run through a set of wheels in a single run.

As with many sports equipment designs, durability can come at the expense of performance. For certain boards, we could make a tougher board out of an expensive hardwood, or thicker cores, but it would be too heavy to freestyle easily. Without defined nose and kicktails you wouldn't be able to pop the board, but they become a point of stress if the board lands upside down.

There a few aftermarket modifications you can do to mitigate damage, (but they do change the board feel). Adding rails, skid plates and nose/tail protectors are an option. On big tricks not a huge amount you can do, that area area just in front and behind the trucks is vulnerable.

If you do think that there is a manufacturing defect, please let us know and we can treat it as a warranty request.

Which longboard should I choose?

Picking your first or even second longboard can be an overwhelming decision

Compared to traditional skateboards, longboard have several subtleties in their design and setups that can drastically change the riding experience from one board to another. With this helpful guide, Loaded is happy to help boil down your options into easily digestible categories to give you the knowledge you need to choose your next ride and get you on board.

What wheels will fit on my board?

This useful board matrix will help you pair the correct trucks and wheels with your Loaded board without risking wheelbite issues.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to view a useful diagram that shows how to properly configure your trucks when rocking 80mm or larger wheels.

Which longboard wheel should I choose?

Are you having trouble finding the right wheel? Cant decide between grip and slip? Curious about lip profiles, stone ground wheels, and urethane durometers? This longboard wheel buyer's guide includes a helpful video that breaks down all of the wheels in Orangatang's line up, as well as a detailed description for each wheel and their intended application.

My longboard is making noise, what should I do?

Riding noise can be due to a number of factors. Here are five possible sources of noise while riding that we would recommend checking on your setup:

  1. Bearing/wheel interface — Make sure your bearings are fully seated in the wheels and your axle nuts are snug. Incomplete bearing installation or excessively wide bearing spacers (such that one bearing cannot completely seat itself in the core due to interference from the spacer and/or other bearing) can cause your bearings to slide back and forth within the wheel core when turning, causing a clicking sound as they unseat and re-seat in the wheel core.
  2. Deck/truck interface — Remove your trucks and hardware and examine the mounting holes on your deck. If they are significantly larger than the diameter of your bolts, the clicking noise may be caused by the truck shifting within the space of the mounting holes. This can occur from manufacturing irregularity (uncommon), manually reaming out the holes with a drill or file to aid in installation (more likely), or accumulated wear from heavy use over time (usually prompted by an oversized hole in the first place).
  3. Truck/bushing interface — Remove your bushings and check the edges for unusual wear (fraying, peeling, or cracking). Depending on the truck model and bushing size, sometimes the edge of the bushing can "pop" out of the truck's bushing seat when turning, which may cause a bit of a clicking sound. Also check the bushing edges facing the washers; bushings that fit tightly in cupped washers can sometimes pop out of the cups just like they do on the truck bushing seats, and the edges of the cupped washers can eat away at the bushing edges.
  4. Truck pivot cups — Remove your truck hanger from the baseplate and examine the pivot cup.
  5. Deck integrity — Check your deck around the truck mounting holes for any cracks (which may be difficult to see). It's possible that minor cracks in the deck material could be allowing enough movement to generate noise.

If after attempting all of the above suggestions you still experience the noise, please contact us and we will see if there is any additional troubleshooting we can do.
